iSawab – Islamic Rewards Tracking

iSawab is a very comprehensive Islamic Rewards Tracking app, in other words it’s a tool for Muslims to keep track of their daily deeds and to help promote consistency and self betterment in religious practice. To use the app you simply input the deeds you’ve done as you do them, for example, when you pray, tap the Prayer section, then tap the prayer you’ve just completed, it will bring up a box asking if you prayed at home, work or mosque. The 3rd app in the Grembe Apps collection, iReward shares many of the subtly great characteristics of iCommunicate and My Pictures Talk. My Pictures Talk

This app is a Social Story companion app to the AAC/Visual Schedule app iCommunicate. Like iCommunicate, My Pictures talk is a simple but extremely versatile and powerful app. The best use we’ve found with this app is Social Stories, a social story is where you tell a simple story about something that your child struggles with so they can see the process and decrease anxiety and unexpectedness. Simplex Spelling Apps

Simplex Spelling is (currently) a duo of powerful educational apps which includes Simplex Spelling HD (Sight Words) and the brand new Simplex Spelling Phonics 1. The system is deceptively simple (as the name suggests) but is one of the (if not the) best and most powerful apps of it’s kind. There are no bells and whistles to distract from the task at hand. iCommunicate

I’ve heard a lot about iCommunicate in my involvement with the Autism community and I’m excited to have the chance to see for myself what this app can do. Many people with Autism (and other special needs, I specify autism simply because that’s the community I’m personally familiar with) are non-verbal or have difficulty with communication and use these sorts of apps to communicate (hence the name).
