iLearnWith is a series of 3 (so far) apps that teach necessary basic skills in an easy to learn, multi-level environment. Choco Gets a Check-Up

The newest app from PicPocket books, ‘Choco Gets a Check-Up’ is simply adorable! Author Mary Faulhaber uses several layers of cute and comfortable to introduce an often scary and uncomfortable topic to kids – seeing the Dr! Writing Letters

Writing Letters is a simple app that allows kids to practice writing their letters on the iPad. I would say it’s more of a digital workbook sort of an app with some multi-sensory features. You have one letter at a time, the app has an audio prompt “The letter A, the sound ‘a’, Apple.” to teach the sound each letter makes and associate it with a word, it also has a picture of the example (see screenshots below). The 3rd app in the Grembe Apps collection, iReward shares many of the subtly great characteristics of iCommunicate and My Pictures Talk. 2BME Firefighter

This app is a fun safety-education app to teach kids about what firefighters do and everything they need to know about fire safety. When I first came across this app I was excited for 2 reasons, one of my kids adores fire-engines and the other has severe fire anxiety.
